" CAKE"? This small word turns to be a very 'HAPPY' feeling wala reaction to everyone of us. In every Happy occasion we cut cakes whether its an anniversary or b'day or wedding etc..etc...in short happiness comes in mind as soon as you hear this word "CAKE". I'm here to help you out in more effective way to make cakes at your home by yourself 😍 and being called as the "BAKER IN HOUSE".
Vanilla sponge cake:
A very basic cake at home without oven in very few ingredients as follows:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
- 1/2tsp of baking powder
- 1/3tsp of baking soda
- 1tsp of vanilla essence
- 3_4tsp of oil
- 3/4cup condensed milk OR 2eggs
- 1/2cup milk OR water as per need
- 2_3tsp butter.
PREPARATION:
- First of all take a pan in Which you gonna bake your cake put 2tsp butter in it , spread it all over the pan and than add small amount of all purpose flour and spread it evenly.
- Now take a bowl add 3/4cup of condensed milk OR 2 eggs, add 3_4tsp of oil in it, mix it well till the oil fully mixes with the condensed milk OR eggs.
- Now add 1/2tsp of baking powder and 1/3tsp of baking soda to the mixture, mix it well.
- Now add 1tsp of vanilla essence,mix it well.
- Now its time for the main ingredient to go in the mixture add 1 cup of all purpose flour in the bowl, mix it well without leaving lumps in the batter.
- Now add small amount of water OR milk in it as per need. Mix it well.
- Now pour the batter in the pan which we greased with butter and all purpose flour.
- Tap the pan on floor carefully till the batter spread evenly in the pan. Keep it aside.
- Now on take another big pan with hard bottom and keep it on high flame on for 10 mins , with keeping a lid on it .(preheating process)
- Now after 10 mins keep the baking pan inside the big pan and cover it with glass lid at medium flame for 40_50 mins
- After 40_50 mins check the cake with knife or small niddle.
- Let it cool and decorate as you want .
SOME IMPORTANT TIPS:
- Mix Butter into Flour. Mixing butter into the flour before adding any kind of wet ingredients will reduce the chances of gluten formation in it.
- Do Not Over Bake.
- Measure the Ingredients CarefullY.
- AVOID OVERMIXING.
